This session will focus on how OGP countries in the region can work towards improving participation and inclusion in their OGP processes. It will focus on the following questions:
  1. What has been done to foster inclusion and broad-based participation in OGP co-creation processes till date, and what practical actions can countries take to improve?
  2. How can inclusion be mainstreamed into open government commitments? What are the challenges faced in doing so?
  3. What themes should the next round of OGP action plans from the region address, to ensure that the proposed reforms meet the needs of the most disadvantaged groups in society?
